I involve in concept generation and handle visual delivery, creating high quality images for client pitches using Photoshop and Blender. My work balances theatrical creative vision with the engineering and physical constraints of space projects. I am currently the Branding and Creative Executive at Sent into Space.

Sent Into Space is the world's leading provider of commercial near-space launches, conducting over 1,000 flights to the upper stratosphere for global marketing campaigns, documentary films, aerospace R&D and scientific research.

Creating Space Campaigns Within Engineering and Budget Constraints

When a brand approaches us with an enquiry, we hold meetings to develop campaign concepts that fit within their budget and our engineering capabilities. This requires understanding both the creative storytelling potential and the physical limitations of launching objects to 38 kilometres above Earth. As a creative, I need to ensure the concepts demonstrate well visually and tell compelling stories that generate attention on social media platforms.

A strong example of this approach is our work with Anker. After several iterations, we developed a concept showing an astronaut charging their phone in space. This campaign generated over 6 million views on YouTube.

Learning Through Live Client Work

At Sent into Space, I was provided with opportunities to work on live projects for some of the world's biggest brands, including Disney and Microsoft.

I was introduced to industry standard software and became proficient in Blender and Photoshop. I also gained experience operating cameras during launches. I improved my time management skills to meet tight client deadlines and enhanced my communication when brainstorming ideas collaboratively with the engineering and creative teams.

The Result

I quickly reached the point where I was taking full creative responsibility for assets that were central to securing major projects. Many of our clients, from leading PR firms to Disney Studios and the film industry, have extremely high expectations for visual impact and quality, and I have shown an ability to meet that level. My efforts and vision have directly contributed to the successful delivery, and in some cases the securing, of major projects for the company over the past year. My experiences with Sent into Space have shifted my goals. I am now interested in building on what I have learned, especially in 3D rendering, graphic design, and videography, and I can see myself working in a similar creative role in the future.
